Regrettably, no GW Grand Tournaments for 2009
Due to some restructuring within the business it has been decided that we will not be hosting or running any Games Workshop Grand Tournaments in the US this year.”
We know this will come as a disappointment to many who have enjoyed the resurgence in the GWGTs over the past two years, and as such this isn’t a decision we have entered into lightly.
This will give us the opportunity to step back and develop an even better experience and overall tournament circuit that will be able to apply to all of North America for 2010.
In the meantime, we heartily encourage anyone looking to get their tournament fix in to participate in the remaining shows on the GW Tournament circuit as well as the other great independent tournament and events that will take place throughout the rest of 2009.

2009 Baltimore Games Day Planning Wrapping Up
All the final details are falling into place. We’ve just updated all the gaming events - and it looks like we’ll have an unprecedented amount of club gaming at this year’s Baltimore Games Day as well as Big Games for all three core systems.
We’ve added some new events to try out namely the Speed Demon competition and Armies On Parade. This should add a healthy dose of fun hobby to counterbalance all the gaming going on.
In addition, Mythic and THQ are planning on being present. If you are fans of Dawn of War II or Warhammer: Age of Reckoning you’ll want to be there to talk to the studios in person!
The big thing left is to finalize and post all the schedules and the few remaining game details (which should be in the next week or so).
Whew!
